ENERGY STAR homes enjoy a $200-$400 annual utility savings and ENERGY STAR offers a free professional toolkit to help market your ENERGY STAR homes. Progress Energy offers homeowners a 5% discount on their electric bill and builders receive a cash rebate of between $400 and $1000 for all ENERGY STAR certified homes with 14 to 15 SEER HVAC equipment. - Quality Assurance
ENERGY STAR homes are tested to ensure quality in the energy systems of the home and that they are within acceptable ranges. Mistakes happen; we find them. LESS CALL BACKS! - Easy Compliance
ENERGY STAR compliance is often met by using ENERGY STAR rated windows and radiant barrier roof sheathing. We do analysis on all plans to be certain that these upgrades are enough to meet the 15% code improvement requirement and will make low cost recommendations if necessary. - Low Costs High Return
Costs to the builder are generally well less than 1% and the benefits to the owner are between 15-25% for complying with ENERGY STAR specifications!
